I’ve been contacted by a young gentleman by the rather curious name of Johnny Kaos. He’s a photographer who wanted to show off his work to the wider world and chose Steampunk Journal as the means to do it.

Johnny hails from Guildford and has been busying himself recently in alternative and steampunk themed shoots. In fact, since he joined the portfolio hosting site PurplePort, he’s amassed quite a following of admirers.

I like these pictures, they have a wide range of themes from High Fashion, to Editorial, Glamour and Fantasy all wrapped up in a steampunk world. They’re sexy and well thought out. Most importantly, I can see that there’s a connection with steampunk either through the model or the photographer. You can see more of Johnny’s work on his PurplePort portfolio by following the link here: Johnny Kaos PurplePort portfolio

I’ll be talking more with Johnny about his work and steampunk inspirations, so keep checking back or like the Journal on Facebook to get a heads up.

  • Steampunk Journal is a Pay As You Feel site.

We really hope you like Steampunk Journal. It's run by two main Editors who work free of charge to bring you the best steampunk information they can find.
You're welcome to take a leisurely stroll around the site completely free of charge.
However, Steampunk Journal exists to promote steampunks around the world. With financial help in the form of donations, we will be able to invest in the site more and expand it to bring you even more steampunk news, reviews, interviews and articles.
